Jaden O'Berry is a live entertainment lighting practitioner and educator from Flint, Michigan.

She currently works as Seasonal Lighting Technician for the Gulfshore Playhouse's 2026-2027 season in sunny Naples, FL.
Jaden has been involved in the technical elements of live entertainment since 2014, been given praise for her work by official adjudicators, and worked with professionals in the theatre field to give her a better understanding of a career in the live entertainment and theatre industry.
Outside of the theater, Jaden is passionate about education, queer activism, environmental policy, and social justice. Her hobbies include reading, watching movies, and hanging out with her cat, Bowie.
Jaden attended Saginaw Valley State University and earned a B.A. in Theatre with a focus in Lighting Design and a double minor in English and Creative Writing in May of 2022. She then received an M.F.A. in Lighting Design and a graduate certificate in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality studies at Illinois State University in May of 2025.

She was the 2024 recipient of the Award for Theatrical Lighting Design Excellence and the 2020 Lighting (DTM) Regional Design Project Winner at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Jaden was also a 2020 recipient of the Diversity in Design Scholarship from LDI & LiveDesign, and Jaden was a 2023 Fred Foster Mentee with ETC. 

Jaden is also a proud alumni of Michigan Thespian Troupe #4890.
